​Yes, when I returned from serving my country overseas, I didn't have much of a choice but to participate in the interspecies brain-to-brain interface unit. 

Yes, it's a mouthful, but in short it was a pretty cool way to experience what another species does.

I was left with a warping side-effect that allowed me to experience the PTSD episodes of abused animals - ever hear of interspecies neural synesthesia? Neither have I.

My life was now a living hell. .
